Utilizing the ultra high end ES-02 mid/tweeter hybrid 2″ wideband drivers in durable, attractive pods, the AF-256/020 system can transform your system. With the superb frequency response from 150 Hz all the way to 20 kHz these can replace the main tweeters in your system, or they can be placed as an addition to fill in where sound is lacking fullness.

We have achieved stellar results using these pods combined with midbass drivers. The advantage of using 1 driver to play the full range of vocals is it eliminates the usual phase problems by crossing over a mid and tweeter in the middle of the vocal range. Other solutions result in the “rainbow” effect of having lower octaves pulling downward while the highs stay above the dash.

This system offers the unique flexibility of being used as an addition to your already great sounding system or to replace existing drivers. Two mids and two tweeters could be replaced by these 2″ pods making your life easier when it comes to tuning the system.
